Hello! My name is Daniel Hawthorne-Foss, and I'm a web developer, software engineer, and musician living in Ann Arbor Michigan, drawing on ten years of experience in music education, community outreach, and performance. With a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the Michigan State University coding bootcamp, I bring creativity, attention to detail, and tenacity to any project, collaborative or solo.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Daniel Hawthorne-Foss began his musical career at the age of 5, playing Bluegrass, American Old Time, and Irish folk music on the mandolin. Having graduating from the University of Michigan, he teaches a private saxophone studio of all ages, coaches young saxophone quartets, and runs sectionals at local middle and high schools. As the baritone saxophonist of the award-winning Sinta Quartet, Daniel has recorded two critically acclaimed albums, as well as performed in three continents, and nine countries.
